Inform the TeamLeaders about TeamEQ

Once you are familiar with the TeamEQ Platform (section: How TeamEQ works) it is time to communicate the project to all the people involved.

We recommend you start this communication with the TeamLeaders. They play a key role in the success of the project. Explain to them why your company is implementing TeamEQ and the benefits of it, not only to the company as a whole, but also to them as leaders and to every individual on their team. And make it clear to them that the project can only be a success if they actively participate in it.

Once the TeamLeaders are familiar with the project, the support materials and the platform, it is time for them to continue the communication process and share it with their TeamMates

The best way to communicate the On Boarding Process to your TeamLeaders is during a face to face meeting. During the meeting, be sure they have room for their questions and concerns.

We recommend the following meeting structure:

  1. Why the company is implementing TeamEQ

Explain the reasons why your company has decided to implement TeamEQ, the benefits of it to them as leaders, and to their Team members.  

  1. Their key role in the success of the project

TeamLeaders need to understand that they play a key role in the success of the project. They can only benefit from the Platform if their TeamMates answer the Beats, communicate with the rest of the team and give qualitative feedback. As Leaders, their role is to encourage the use of the platform, as well as to be a role model by actively answering all comments and private messages.

  1. Launch and On Boarding Process

We recommend you share the infographic support material where TeamLeaders can see the complete process in a visual manner.

  1. How to use the platform

Here, the support material of the TeamEQ DEMO can be very helpful. Go through the Demo with the Team Leaders and invite them to start using it by themselves.

  1. Next Step: Team Leaders’ Communication to Team Mates

As key players, the TeamLeaders are responsible for communicating the new TeamEQ Project to their teams in a positive and enthusiastic way. All Team Members need to know about the projects and how to use the platform before the launch date.  

We highly recommend that Project Presentations take place during face to face meetings. Below you can find a suggestion for an Invitation Email:

On (date) we will be implementing a new tool within our organization called TeamEQ. The aim of this project is to give our employees the chance to express their opinions so, with their collaboration, we can make the best decisions in real time, for both them and the company.

TeamEQ will send, in a time frame that has been previously decided upon, a questionnaire called the TeamBeat, made up of 12 questions that address different indicators that will enable you to gauge how well your teams are doing.

As TeamLeaders you will have access to the team results in real time and to feedback from collaborators, which will help you to make the best decisions. As a TeamLeader, it is crucial that you understand how important your role is with regard to the correct functioning of the project within your organization.

We would like to invite you on (date) to a training session where we will tell you more about the project and show you how to use the platform.
